About us!
I am a born and raised Kansas girl living in the heart of the Midwest! I met Alex when we were in High School and we dated for three years, got engaged, and got married Alex’s senior year of college. That year will always be one of my favorites! Alex builds tree houses-- he's the coolest (you can find those here!!) He's the best husband ever that fixes anything that needs fixin’ and cooks anything that needs cookin’. He has one of the most creative eyes and his shots always are in my top 5 from the day. He’s the best! We have three sweet little boys, 6, 4, & 1.5 year old! They keep us busy and we love every second with them! We are so thankful for our little family!
We live on a little farm in the country with 30 chickens, 3 barn cats, 2 bunnies, 7 goats, and our golden retriever, Maple! Our Golden lives up to her retriever (ness) and loves every single person she comes in contact with! We love to be outside more than anything, and we love to garden. We are always working on a DIY project or having our family and friends out. We are currently building our dream home on a little slice of Heaven in the country and we cannot wait to move in!
We love and adore Jesus with all of our hearts. He is the center of everything we do and we strive to be like Him every single day. We seek to love people the way Jesus does and to honor the Lord in all we do and say! Our goal is to always leave our clients feeling SO loved every time we are together!

Photography has been a passion of mine for almost 20 years now! I received my first digital camera when I was 13 and just ever looked back. Kelsie Rorie Photography was born in 2016 and we are celebrating TEN YEARS this year! Capturing the most important times in someone's life and how important that is will NEVER be lost on me! It's one of my greatest joys and I cannot wait to get YOU behind my camera-- annnnnd become really great friends! My clients know you aren't only my clients you turn into family!

Your wedding day is one of the biggest & happiest days of your life! Honestly? Your wedding is one of the biggest and happiest days of our lives too! Our style is candid & fun-- full of color and joy; with an intentional processes for posing that aligns with our couples' personality. In this industry it's important that we make sure we get to know our couple so we can make their photos as seamless as possible. We've shot over 200 weddings & have delivered over 200,000 engagement and wedding photos! I have been photographing families for 12 years and when I became a mom-- something shifted in me! I no longer was shooting because I loved photography and being creative-- I was now shooting because I knew what it was like to be a mom and how important it is to capture the little moments in time that I could cherish forever! My style is candid and fun. The sillier the better & the real and raw moments are the heartbeat of my photography. I TRULY love when your family is really YOU! Don't worry about posing, don't worry about your silly kiddos. Leave it to me and just come have fun!

Maternity & Newborn photos are truly some of the most cherished photos you will EVER have. It's those little moments that you'll want to look back and remember that season of life-- the joy, the hard and everything in between. I always look back at my maternity and newborn photos of my own little family and they bring me straight back to those precious memories!
